Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Warehouse Materials Handling Specialist to manage outbound shipments, inbound receiving, and material movement at our North Canton facility. You will assemble orders, label parts, and ensure accurate data entry into the tracking system while maintaining safe operations.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 0–3 years in shipping/receiving in manufacturing. Proficiency with forklifts, pallet jacks, and basic computer skills is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material handlers safely.
• Capable of driving vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong attention to detail; able to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
• English literacy (read, write, speak) and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outbound shipments: verify addresses, complete shipping docs, select transportation.
• Assemble orders and build protective boxes/crates for transit.
• Receive inbound goods: unload, inspect, label, enter data into tracking system.
• Complete shipping/receiving reports and escalate damages.
• Move material with forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and related equipment.
• Operate a saw to cut materials supporting manufacturing.
• Operate pickup/flatbed trucks to transport materials or products.
• Maintain supplies/equipment and keep inventory accurate; support counts.
• Follow SOPs and site procedures; assist with additional tasks.
