Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Saraland, AL to support receiving, stocking and order fulfillment while upholding safety and accuracy.

You will unload merchandise, verify counts against documentation, place products in storage, and assist with training new team members; all daily tasks require teamwork and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Required: basic computer skills, ability to read and match numbers quickly, teamwork, and completion of a company test.
• Desired: high school diploma or GED, experience in warehouse environments, familiarity with automotive parts, and multilingual abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations.
• Unload various types of merchandise from trailers, containers and trucks.
• Match skid or box counts to the Proof of Delivery documentation, noting discrepancies.
• Place skids where assigned on or near the dock, remove packing lists, and document Vendor Compliance issues.
• Receive product on assigned batches, stock product from vendors, store returns, warehouse transfer, UPS shipments.
• Place product in storage locations from floor level to 72 inches high, using equipment as needed.
• Research discrepancies, confirm corrections, and close the batch releasing product to inventory.
• Acquire product from reserve locations with/without power equipment and replace in storage areas.
• Trainers may lead the DC target training program and onboard new team members.
• All other duties as assigned.
