Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate in Austell, GA to receive, store, and ship inventory using WMS. The role includes safety-focused operations, lifting heavy materials, and handling wire and cable cutting with appropriate machinery.

Responsibilities cover picking, packing, and preparing shipments for carriers, maintaining stock accuracy, and adhering to safety PPE requirements in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Must have physical ability to receive, pick, pack, ship, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
Able to operate warehouse equipment safely per manufacturers’ instructions.
Must comply with safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

Receive, store, select, pack, and ship warehouse inventory using WMS.
Lift and move inventory; operate and maneuver equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe warehouse; perform daily safety inspections.
Cut wire and cable with machines and ensure cut accuracy.
Fill orders according to type, length, and size requested by customers.
Process UPS and non-UPS orders via WMS for packing and loading.
Consolidate inventory and conduct cycle counts; identify discrepancies.
