Job summary

Graybar in Austell, GA is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to receive, store, select, pack and ship inventory. The role uses a Warehouse Management System and offers employee ownership benefits. Shifts run Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm with no weekends or nights for most roles.

Prerequisites include the ability to lift and climb ladders, pass a pre-employment physical, and at least 18 years old. Experience in large warehouses and using a WMS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• No fear of heights is required.
• Minimum age of 18.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections.
