Job summary

Graybar Electric Company in Austell, GA is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler to ensure products reach their destinations. You will receive, store, select, pack and ship inventory using a Warehouse Management System. This employee-owned company offers opportunities to grow into higher level positions.

The role requires working 7:30am–4:30pm, with potential 11:00am–8:00pm shifts. Candidates should have at least 2 years in a large warehouse, be comfortable lifting, and pass a pre-employment

Qualifications

• No fear of heights.
• Pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Good attendance and work ethic.
• 2+ years experience preferred.
• Prior large warehouse experience using a warehouse management system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments; conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain clean warehouse and follow all safety procedures including daily inspections.
