Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is hiring a Returns Material Handler to unload product deliveries and organize existing inventory on the loading floor and Returns area. You will work with the team to ensure items are checked and moved safely, labeling and locating stock as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and accuracy, with responsibilities spanning unloading, inventory placement, and maintaining a clean work environment. Weekend availability may be required as needed by the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse environment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively with team and supervisors.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Unload returned merchandise from trailers utilizing a hand truck as appropriate.
• Offload onto Returns floor to the proper checking area.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; record locations of inventory.

Compensation

• Starting hourly pay at $17.00 - $19.00/hour (Based on experience)

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse environment.

Physical Demands

• Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
