Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture in the United States is seeking a Recycler to operate equipment safely, unload recyclable materials, and place materials in designated areas.

You will handle forklifts and related machinery, keep the distribution center clean, and report hazards. The role requires flexibility with hours and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklift and related material-handling equipment.

Compensation

• Starting hourly pay at $17.00 - $19.00 / hour (Based on experience)

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to operate equipment such as forklift, bailer, compactor, densifier, clamp truck, etc.
• Must be able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department, including weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob's.

Physical Demands

• Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
• Move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
• Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
• Standing, walking, lifting, and arranging product: 90%
• Sitting: 5%
• Desk or phone work: 5%
