Job summary

Ascentek is seeking a Warehouse/Material Handler to support receiving, storing, and moving materials across production and shipping areas. You will use a warehouse management system to ensure accuracy and timely availability of materials for production.

Responsibilities include inspecting inbound shipments, placing materials in storage, picking and packaging orders, and operating forklifts. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive approach to safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving or material handling.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and production schedules.
• Experience with warehouse management systems or ERP is helpful.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments and verify against orders.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
• Receive materials into inventory using the warehouse system.
• Review schedules to determine material requirements.
• Pick and deliver materials to production areas.
• Verify materials against work ticket specifications.
• Move completed products to inventory or staging areas.
• Pack and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Load and unload freight with forklifts and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and participate in cycle counts.
• Communicate shortages and issues to supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Travel between company locations as needed.
