Astec is seeking a Warehouse/Materials Associate to support production by pulling materials, labeling inventory, and ensuring timely movement of parts. The role involves operating a forklift, preparing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records to meet production schedules.

You will work with the production team to verify orders, load/unload materials, and monitor safety procedures while ensuring accurate documentation and packaging for internal and external customers.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0-to-1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift knowledge is a plus, but not required.
• Computer experience desired, particularly the ability to use a mouse and locate/open files.
• Adept at problem-solving and adaptable to new situations and challenges.
• Ability to communicate and work with others respectfully in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain inventory levels by identifying, labeling, stocking, and recording materials and supplies.
• Transport heavy material using a forklift inside and outside buildings.
• Determine production requirements by obtaining work orders.
• Verify items and quantities on packing slips and receive or ship as necessary.
