Job summary

Didion Inc. is seeking a Material Handler at our packaging plant to keep materials flowing and support production. You will move materials with forklifts, maintain inventory accuracy, and stage items to ensure seamless workflows on the line.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, forklift certification or ability to obtain, and a strong eye for detail with good communication. The role requires teamwork, basic data entry, and flexibility for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in material handling (manufacturing/packaging is a big plus).
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Great communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer abilities for inventory and data entry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with focus.
• Overtime flexibility when needed.

Responsibilities

• Keep materials moving using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and organized storage areas.
• Stage materials for production to keep workflows smooth.
• Support machine operators and the production team.
• Monitor and restock packaging supplies to eliminate downtime.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols to keep everyone safe.
• Share ideas to improve processes and efficiency.
• Ensure quality and care in all materials handled.
