Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or 1-3 years relevant experience.
• Must be a certified forklift operator.
• Ability to interact effectively with co-workers.
• Understand written and verbal work instructions.
• Good judgment and decision making, able to work independently or in team environment.
• Ability to work effectively within a union and non-union workforce

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift, load/unload trailers, and move materials and finished goods.
• Maintain correct pallets on each truck and meet loading requirements.
• Ensure flow of material from receiving to inventory and keep floor stocked.
• Ensure products are packaged, coded, labeled, and stenciled as required.
• Keep the production line running at optimal speed and handle line setups.
• Perform production data recording and related paperwork.
• Verify packing specs and proper pallet orientation.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and coordinate with maintenance.
• Assist/coaching new hires on line loading speeds and techniques.
