Job summary

Novo Building Products is seeking an entry-level Material Handler in Amherst, NH. You will move, store, and package materials to support production and distribution, using forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.

Typical duties include receiving and inspecting items, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating with the production team to keep materials available for manufacturing. Safety and accuracy are essential in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Safely and efficiently transport materials to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure materials are available for manufacturing processes.
• Prepare and package materials for shipment according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing material handling tasks.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate material handling activities.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or issues related to inventory or material handling to management.
