Job summary

Novo Building Products is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for our Amherst, NH facility. The role involves moving products around the warehouse, using RF scanners to track items, and ensuring safe transport to designated areas.

This position requires operating a forklift with a 6,500 lb rating, following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience operating a forklift with capacity 6,500 pounds.
• Ability to move awkward product lengths and weight.
• Use of PPE and maintain a safe work environment.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and standard work instructions.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Preferred: distribution/manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift to move product and pallets safely.
• Communicates discrepancies, product issues or safety issues with Supervisor.
• Ensures product is scanned with RF scanner to correct location and labels are accurate.
• Maintains a clean and safe area free of debris.
• Keeps like product together and accessible.
• Completes Novo forklift training and adheres to safety requirements.
• May assist placing standup items in designated area; performs other duties as assigned.
