Job summary

Phoenix Metals Company is seeking a warehouse/yard worker to support metals processing and distribution on-site. You will move inventory, pull orders, and prepare shipments using forklift, side loader, or crane while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Requirements include 1–2 years of warehousing experience, a valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR, and the ability to read instructions, measure basics, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Must possess a Valid Drivers License.
• Ability to meet current MVR quality criteria as defined by regulations/policy.
• Clear oral and written communication skills, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions; basic measurement skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory or equipment, fill customer orders, pull material from racks, unload and load vehicles.
• Receives, places/returns items into stock locations and tags material for identification.
• Pulls and assembles orders based on shipping documents and other documentation.
• Operate forklift, side loader, or crane to move material; may drive local deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area; ensure compliance with safety/quality standards.
