Qualifications

• 0-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Warehousing and material handling experience preferred.
• Certification to operate required material handling equipment encouraged.
• Clear oral and written communication skills are required.
• Good manual dexterity and steady hands are needed.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and specs.
• Basic measurement and arithmetic skills are required.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Ability to make sound decisions and work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Generally responsible for completing basic, routine tasks with detailed instructions.
• Move inventory or equipment, fill customer orders, pull material from racks, unload and load vehicles, and maintain warehouse upkeep.
• Receive, place, and return items into stock locations.
• Pull and assemble orders based on shipping documents and work orders.
• Tag material for proper identification and complete required paperwork.
• Move material with forklift, side loader, or crane as needed.
• Operate yard truck for loading/unloading trailers when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Spot inventory checks and ensure proper tagging as directed.
• Report irregularities to supervisor and restock material as needed.
