Job summary

Phoenix Metals is seeking a warehouse associate in the Plant family group to supervise or perform metals processing and distribution tasks. Responsibilities include handling materials, loading/unloading, and maintaining accurate stock records in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and forklift certification. Ability to read and follow instructions and perform basic math is required, along with strong teamwork and safety

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Must possess a Valid Driver's License.
Ability to meet current MVR quality criteria per Federal regs/company policy.
Warehousing and material handling experience preferred.
Must obtain certification to operate motorized material handling equipment.
Clear oral and written communication skills; legible handwriting.

Responsibilities

Generally responsible for completing basic, routine tasks with detailed instructions.
Move inventory or equipment, fill customer orders, pull material from racks, unload incoming material, load trucks.
Receive, place/return items into stock locations.
Pull and assemble orders based on shipping documents.
Tag material for identification and complete required documentation.
Move material using forklift, side loader, or crane; operate yard truck for loading/unloading.
