Ryder System, Inc. is hiring full-time Warehouse Material Handler in Fairburn, Georgia. Join a safety-focused team operating forklifts to move paper products and everyday essentials in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Weekly pay at $22.50 per hour, on-the-job training, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, employee discounts, and safety gear. Candidates should have a high school diploma and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accuracy in picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production shifts.
• Perform duties within contract performance guidelines and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
