Job summary

Ryder in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Storeroom Attendant / Material Handler to join our warehouse team. The role offers weekly pay, great benefits, and a path for career growth within a safety-first supply chain environment.

The position requires forklift experience, strong computer and WMS skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training provided; health/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and discounts accompany the package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Process day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $18.43 per hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Requirements

• Strong technical aptitude which includes using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, scanners and enter orders into a WMS System
• 1 year previous experience operating sit down forklifts
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Must be able to work both indoors and outside

• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
