Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring Material Handlers in Pullman, Illinois, offering weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. 2nd shift, 3:30pm–12am, with hourly pay of $20 plus overtime and incentives.

Roles involve forklift operation, picking, packing, and general warehouse duties in Food Grade product environments. We provide paid training, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO from month 1, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving and forklift operation.
• Accurately pick/pack, audit, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour

• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour
• Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday to Friday - 3:30pm to 12am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
