Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Material Handler in Phoenix, AZ for a temporary-to-permanent, full-time position in a clean, safety-focused warehouse environment. Tasks include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation, with weekly pay and on-the-job training.

The role supports aerospace component handling with standard and overtime pay and potential conversion to full-time after 90 days. Strong teamwork and communication are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance guidelines of the contract and safety standards.
• Accurately pick/pack, audit, and stage products and load/unload trucks.
• Process day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, Bills of Lading).
• Support automated packing systems and provide maintenance assistance during shifts.

Ryder is hiring a Temporary to Permanent Full Time Material Handler in Phoenix, Arizona — offering weekly pay and a career you can feel good about.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $25.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $0.50 per hour when assigned to Second Shift
• Additional Pay: $0.50 per hour when converted to full time after 90 days
• Schedule: Second Shift Monday - Friday and every other Saturday as needed, 1:30pm - 10:00 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
