Job summary

The Erlen Group is seeking a Material Handler I for a 12-hour day shift in Springfield, MO. This full-time, manual labor role involves accurate inbound, storage, and outbound product handling, checking loads, and verifying documents.

You will move and unload by hand, pallet jack, or forklift, pick orders, manage inventory, and support sanitation and safety policies. One year of warehouse experience is required; benefits include PTO, health and life insurance, and tuition reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Move, load, and unload food products, materials, and packages by hand, pallet jack, or forklift from trains, railcars, and trailers.
• Handle paperwork and use scanners to ship and receive clients’ food product accurately.
• Pick orders, select products, and control inventory as necessary.
• Transfer data manually and electronically to co-workers and Inventory Control Team.
• Monitor warehouse inventory through cycle counts.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse through various assigned sanitation duties.
• Follow Safety and Food Safety Polices & Procedures.
• Attention to detail and strong mathematical abilities.
