Job summary

Graybar Service Center in Springfield, MO is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to receive, store, select, pack and ship inventory using a warehouse management system. You will operate pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

The role requires standing and lifting in varying temperatures, passing a pre-employment physical, and a Monday–Friday schedule from 10:30am to 7:30pm.

Qualifications

• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material per system processes.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments; conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean warehouse and follow safety procedures; pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Minimum 18 years of age with good attendance and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain clean warehouse including safety inspections.
