Immediately hiring a Permanent Full-Time Warehouse Material Handler to support our Facility at Ryder in Lafayette, Indiana.

Weekly Pay: $17.25 per hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One or more years of related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator's license
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to work in a diverse environment and create professional relationships
• Dependable and punctual with good attendance
• Ability to perform work independently with high accuracy
• Ability to lift and push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Work safely and with flexibility across shifts
• Detail-oriented with good follow-up skills

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Follow performance measurement guidelines
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, staging, and loading/unloading
• Handle warehouse paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
• Support technical and maintenance aspects of automated packing systems during production hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
