Job summary

FedEx Ground in Williston, VT is seeking a warehouse operator to safely and efficiently operate equipment used to move packages, documents, heavyweight freight and ULDs. The role includes assisting in pallet buildup/breakdown and acting as a liaison with the ULD repair vendor as needed.

The position requires the physical ability to lift 50 lbs, to walk, stand, bend, and squat for shifts, and to communicate effectively in a noisy environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Walk, stand, bend and squat for designated hours.
• Climb stairs and ladders if required.
• Communicate clearly in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
