Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Williston, VT is seeking a warehouse associate to operate equipment safely for moving packages, documents and heavyweight freight. You will assist in pallet buildup/breakdown and serve as a liaison with the ULD repair vendor as needed.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs, walk and stand for long periods, bend, squat, climb stairs or ladders, and communicate effectively in a noisy environment. A valid driver’s license is required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs without assistance from the ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required at work location.
• Able to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.
• Must successfully complete basic and recurrency training.
• Ability to possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
