Job summary

Summit Polymers is seeking a warehouse associate at our Kalamazoo facility to handle material flow, labeling, and inventory. You will operate forklifts, support production, and maintain KanBan storage to ensure smooth dock and warehouse functions.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork, with cross-training across warehouse tasks and routine housekeeping. OSHA forklift certification is required or obtainable as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain forklift license per OSHA requirements.
• Ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.
• Minimum Wonderlic Select Assessment score of 50.

Responsibilities

• Provide necessary product and material to production departments as needed.
• Weigh and label product as needed.
• Return product to proper storage locations per KanBan system.
• Shrink wrap finished parts and place in proper storage location.
• Cross-train in other warehouse functions and perform those functions when necessary.
• Perform housekeeping activities for warehouse and dock area.
• Other duties as assigned.
