Summit Polymers is seeking a dependable Warehouse/Material Handler to join our Kalamazoo site. You will support production by moving materials, labeling, and organizing inventory with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The role emphasizes operating material handling equipment, fork trucks, and maintaining KanBan flow while performing shipping, receiving, and housekeeping duties. Applicants must be able to obtain a forklift license per OSHA, lift up to 60 pounds, and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Requires the ability to obtain forklift license per OSHA requirements.
• Minimum score of 50 on the Wonderlic Select Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide necessary product and material to production departments as needed.
• Weigh and label product as needed.
• Return product to proper storage locations per KanBan system.
• Shrink wrap finished parts and place in proper storage location.
• Cross-train in other warehouse functions and perform those functions when necessary.
