Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Material Handler I in Indiana to support shipping, receiving and storage operations. The role involves lifting heavy items, operating a forklift, and ensuring accurate records in the Warehouse Management System.

Under supervision, you will help with packing, labeling, and documentation while maintaining safety and cleanliness in the warehouse. Training and a team-focused environment are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Unloads and directs movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.
• Verifies and records incoming and outgoing shipments in the Warehouse Management System.
• Gathers, verifies, and places items into order picking containers for outgoing shipments.
• Prepares packing slips, shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documents.
• Maintains clean, orderly, and safe warehouse work areas and equipment.
• Replenishes primary stock shelves from reserve stock locations as needed.
• Operates a forklift.
• Works after hours as needed.
• May perform driving duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
