Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Material Handler I to perform material handling tasks including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, returns, and storage. The role requires lifting heavy items and operating a forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Typically a high school diploma or GED is required with up to two years of related experience. You will work closely with the team and may drive on occasion, using basic computer systems to track shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Unload and direct movement of shipments to storage and work areas.
• Verify and record incoming/outgoing shipments in the Warehouse Management System.
• Prepare packing slips, shipping labels, and bills of lading.
• Assist with replenishment of primary stock from reserve locations.
• Operate a forklift and support after-hours work as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
