Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Material Handler I in Merrillville, IN. Under supervision, you will handle shipping, receiving, and storage, operate a forklift, and support order fulfillment. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments in the warehouse system, preparing shipping documents, and maintaining a clean work area. Lift up to 150 lbs with assistance; overtime may be required.

• Forklift certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Unload and direct movement of shipments to storage/work areas.
• Verify and record shipments in the Warehouse Management System.
• Prepare packing slips, labels, and shipping documents.
• Operate forklift and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• May drive as needed and perform other duties.
