Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Material Handler to perform physical and administrative material-handling duties in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role includes unloading shipments, recording data in the WMS, preparing shipping documents, and replenishing stock.

Forklift operation is required and some after-hours work may be needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years of related experience, with basic computer skills and the ability to lift up to 150 pounds

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; 0–2 years of related experience.
Basic computer skills and ability to perform simple math.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

Unloads and directs movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.
Verifies and records incoming and outgoing shipments in the Warehouse Management System.
Gathers, verifies, and places items into order picking containers for outgoing shipments.
Prepares packing slips, shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documents.
Maintains clean, orderly warehouse areas and equipment.
Replenishes stock from reserve locations as needed.
Operates a forklift and may perform driving duties.
Works after hours as needed.
