Job summary

Pentair plc in Delavan, WI is seeking a Warehouse/Material Handler for 2nd shift to support Shipping and Materials by managing inventory, handling materials, and processing orders in a fast-paced environment.

You'll load and unload trucks, receive, stage, pick, palletize, and ship items, using SAP and other systems. A focus on accuracy, safety, and teamwork is essential.

The role offers $21.00/hr with an 8% shift differential, with opportunities for rate increases after proficiency and training.

Qualifications

• Able to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork, organization, and attention to detail.
• Experience operating forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, scanners; forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand and walk for extended periods, and work safely with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
• Receive, inspect, store, and distribute raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Pick, stage, palletize, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Accurately complete shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse transactions using SAP and other inventory systems.
• Deliver materials to production areas and read BOMs/work instructions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

You will support the Shipping and Materials teams by managing inventory, materials handling, shipping and receiving activities, and order processing to ensure materials are delivered accurately and operations run smoothly and efficiently.You will:Load and unload trucks using forklifts, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.Receive, inspect, store, and distribute raw materials, components, and finished goods.Pick, stage, palletize, and prepare orders for shipment.Accurately complete shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse transactions using SAP and other inventory systems.Verify inventory accuracy and maintain required documentation, including packing slips and transfer records.Deliver materials to production areas in a timely manner and support manufacturing operations.Read and follow Bills of Materials (BOMs) and work instructions.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all safety procedures.Key Qualifications:Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.Strong teamwork, organization, and attention to detail.Basic computer and math skills.Experience operating forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, scanners, and other warehouse equipment; forklift certification preferred.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand and walk for extended periods, and work safely while wearing required PPE.Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work area.Hours/Shift:2nd shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm Monday – FridayOccasional mandatory overtime requiredCompensation:The hourly pay for this role is: $21.00/hr. (2nd shift also receives an 8% shift differential for a total of $22.68/hr.). Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training.
