Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Logistics Material Handler for the Moorpark, CA facility on the 2nd shift. You will support manufacturing by moving materials and finished goods, document parts, and rotate on the line.

Candidates should have experience in manufacturing, be able to lift 50 pounds, read instructions, operate RF scanners with SAP, and speak English. OT may be required; benefits are provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Document and handle parts accurately.

Logistics Material Handler, 2nd Shift – Moorpark, CA

We have an opportunity for a Logistics Material Handler to join our Moorpark, CA team. You will assist in the manufacturing and production of Pentair Pool Products. You will provide support for the production team by moving materials and finished goods throughout the facility.

You Will

• Be responsible for correctly documenting and handling of parts.
• Need to be flexible to rotate on the line.
• Be familiar with packing small components and packaging operations.
• Provide general labor incidental to manufacturing operations.
• Need to be capable of performing a variety of production operations incidental to the manufacturing of various items or devices produced in the department
• Need to be able to use fine hand manipulation.
• Must be able to read, write and understand written, visual and oral instructions.
• Able to use a variety of hand tools in department, including but not limited to, air guns, screwdrivers, wrenches, and other power/hand tools.

Key Qualifications

• Able to use RF scanners for transfers on SAP.
• Able to drive sit-down and stand-up forklift
• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in production and/or assembly position.
• Bilingual – English/Spanish.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting and lowering weights.
• Lifting requirement is 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Steel-toed footwear is required.

Compensation

• The hourly pay for this role is $21.00/hour, plus 8% shift differential while working on 2nd shift. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.

Shift

• 2nd Shift: 2nd: 12:30pm - 9:10pm (may need to help on other shifts at times)
• OT and weekends required as needed.
