Job summary

Pentair plc in Delavan, WI is hiring a Warehouse/Material Handler for 1st shift (PERM). You will load/unload trucks, receive and ship materials, and support production by delivering parts on time.

This role uses SAP for transactions and requires basic math, teamwork, and safety focus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment is needed; forklift certification is preferred.

• Deliver materials to production areas in a timely manner.
• Read and follow Bills of Materials and work instructions.

We have an opportunity for a Warehouse/Material Handler to join our Delavan, WI team.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.


• Receive, inspect, store, and distribute raw materials, components, and finished goods.


• Pick, stage, palletize, and prepare orders for shipment.


• Accurately complete shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse transactions using SAP and other inventory systems.


• Verify inventory accuracy and maintain required documentation, including packing slips and transfer records.


• Deliver materials to production areas in a timely manner and support manufacturing operations.


• Read and follow Bills of Materials (BOMs) and work instructions.


• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all safety procedures.

Key Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.


• Strong teamwork, organization, and attention to detail.


• Basic computer and math skills.


• Experience operating forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, scanners, and other warehouse equipment; forklift certification preferred.


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand and walk for extended periods, and work safely while wearing required PPE.


• Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Shift/Hours

1st Shift: 5:30am - 2:00pm Monday – Friday Occasional mandatory overtime required

Compensation

The hourly pay for this role is: $21.00. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
