Job description

To provide safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs. To assist in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight. To serve as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required. Shift is Sunday 1830-0100, Monday 1800-2230, Tuesday-Thursday 1830-2230. Shift is subject to change based on business needs.

Minimum Requirements:

1. MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE.
2. Ability to lift 75 lbs.
3. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 75 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
4. Clerical experience including typing and/or general office administration duties preferred.
5. Good human relations and communication skills.
6. Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training.
7. Experience dealing with the movement of heavyweight freight using forklifts, tugs, and other loading/unloading equipment preferred.
8. The ability to communicate both timely and effectively in a noisy operations environment is required.

Since operating motorized conveyances is required in this job, employee must possess a valid driver's license (see policy 4-48).

Compensation: Hourly: $16.54 - $22.89. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range or starting rate of candidates hired in Colorado and/or Nevada and/or New York and/or California and/or Connecticut and/or Rhode Island and/or Washington. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
