Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Temporary to Permanent Material Handler in Phoenix, Arizona. The role features weekly pay, and a pathway from temporary to permanent employment within a safety-focused environment.

The position involves standard warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation. You will work with scanners and pallet jacks, supporting aerospace components distribution, with a schedule Monday through Friday and alternating Saturdays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work in a diverse environment.
• Punctual with good attendance; reliable.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs; stand long periods.
• Flexible schedule on various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in warehouse (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing system during core production hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Ryder is hiring a Temporary to Permanent Material Handler in Phoenix, Arizona — offering weekly pay and a career you can feel good about.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $17.00 per hour

• Additional Pay: $0.50 shift difference will be added once status changes from temporary to permanent employee.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday and every other Saturday 1:30PM - 10:00PM

• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks

• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)

• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production

• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract

• Performs other duties as assigned.
