Job summary

Lipton Teas and Infusions is seeking a Material Handler to support material flow, inventory accuracy, and waste management in the Suffolk, VA facility. This role reports to the Production Supervisor and requires teamwork, safety discipline, and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include unloading and loading trailers, handling finished goods with a forklift, using SAP for material transactions, and participating in continuous improvements while maintaining a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2+ years warehouse experience.
• Must maintain an active forklift license.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all policies, procedures, safety, and sanitation rules.
• Report unsafe acts and conditions; correct if possible.
• Operate forklift, stand up lift, and pallet jack safely.
• Unload inbound trailers and store materials.
• Load trailers for outbound shipments and manage space.
• Receive, scan, and handle finished goods with forklift.
• Use SAP to enter and scan materials and finished goods.
• Support waste management and housekeeping in the plant.
