Warehouse Manager

gpac is working with a well-established food manufacturing facility in Southern Ohio that is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead multi-shift warehouse operations.

What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a multi-shift warehouse organization, including Warehouse Supervisors and Team Leads
- Build a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, and outbound shipping
- Coordinate operational priorities and workflow across all shifts
- Monitor productivity, throughput, equipment utilization, and operational efficiency
- Ensure staffing levels meet business demands while minimizing unnecessary overtime
- Oversee warehouse employee training, safety, onboarding, and development
- Coach employees, conduct performance reviews, and identify succession-planning opportunities
- Support recruitment, retention, employee engagement, and recognition initiatives
- Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate expectations across shifts
- Maintain inventory accuracy and effective warehouse processes
- Oversee forklift maintenance, utilization, and spending
- Provide operational leadership and coverage during Supervisor absences as needed
- Maintain strong knowledge of all warehouse functions and processes
- Partner closely with Production, Scheduling, Transportation, Customer Service, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Finance
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase warehouse productivity
- Ensure warehouse operations meet food safety, regulatory, and company requirements
What We're Looking For
- Previous Warehouse Management or Warehouse Leadership experience
- Experience leading multi-shift warehouse operations
- Background in food manufacturing, manufacturing, distribution, or another high-volume environment preferred
- Proven ability to lead and develop Supervisors, Team Leads, and frontline employees
- Strong knowledge of receiving, inventory management, shipping, and warehouse operations
- Experience with employee coaching, performance management, staffing, and training
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and operational efficiency
- A hands-on leadership style with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively across departments and at multiple levels of an organization
- A continuous-improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
