Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager in the United States, Wisconsin, Baraboo area to lead daily distribution and storage operations. You will drive inventory control, on-time order fulfillment, and safety-focused improvements in a food-grade facility.

The role requires Lean and Six Sigma expertise, strong leadership, and ability to manage WMS/ERP systems while coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse supervisory experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Certification or hands-on experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, SQF) and audit prep

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping and returns to meet targets
• Manage inventory accuracy and shrinkage via cycle counts and storage optimization
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse staff: hiring, training, scheduling and performance management
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma projects to increase throughput and reduce waste
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and audits
• Maintain and optimize Warehouse Management System (WMS) and coordinate with IT
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time shipments, order accuracy and inventory turnover

Warehouse Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead daily operations of our distribution and storage facility. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient inventory control, on-time order fulfillment, safe working conditions, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and a background in food industry operations or food-grade facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping and returns to meet service, quality and cost targets.
• Manage inventory accuracy and shrinkage control through cycle counts, reconciliation, and optimization of storage systems.
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse staff: hiring, training, scheduling, performance management and fostering a safety-first culture.
• Implement and sustain Lean and Six Sigma improvement projects to increase throughput, reduce waste, and lower operating costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., HACCP, GMP, SQF) and maintain proper documentation for audits.
• Maintain and optimize Warehouse Management System (WMS) and coordinate with IT/operations to ensure accurate order processing and traceability.
• Manage warehouse budget, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time shipments, order accuracy, inventory turnover, and labor productivity and produce regular performance reports.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, quality and logistics teams to align warehouse capacity and material flow with business needs.
• Own maintenance programs for material handling equipment and facility, and ensure workplace safety through regular inspections and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decisions and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse supervisory experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in a food or food-grade environment.
• Certification or hands-on experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., Yellow/Green/Black Belt) and proven track record of leading process improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements (HACCP, GMP, SQF) and experience preparing for third-party audits.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems and inventory control best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in hiring, coaching, and developing front-line teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical skills, comfortable using KPI dashboards and MS Excel to monitor performance and drive decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with production, quality, procurement and logistics.
• Ability to manage budgets, plan labor, and prioritize competing demands while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
