Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse management experience.
• Experience in food distribution, cold storage, or perishable goods.
• Experience leading warehouse teams of 20+ members.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory control.
• Experience using WMS and operational reporting systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, warehouse safety, and food handling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
• Manage and develop Warehouse Supervisors, Leads, and warehouse teams.
• Drive productivity, order accuracy, on-time shipping, and operational performance.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, overtime, and workforce needs.
• Maintain safe and efficient cold storage and temperature-controlled operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, food safety, PPE, and company safety standards.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Improve warehouse workflows, processes, layout, and overall efficiency.
• Support inventory accuracy and effective use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Partner with Transportation, Inventory, Logistics, and Sales to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Coach, train, and develop team members while building a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled food distribution warehouse.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for warehouse operations, team performance, productivity, safety, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment. We're looking for someone who knows how to lead from the floor, develop strong teams, solve problems, and keep an operation moving safely and efficiently.

What You'll Own

What We're Looking For

• Experience in food distribution, cold storage, refrigerated/frozen products, perishable goods, grocery distribution, or a similar environment preferred
• Experience leading warehouse teams of 20+ team members preferred
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory control
• Experience using WMS and operational reporting systems
• Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, warehouse safety, and food handling requirements
• Strong leadership, coaching, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven warehouse environment
