Job summary

DSG is seeking a Warehouse Manager in La Crosse, WI. This salaried, exempt role oversees day-to-day warehouse and delivery operations, manages warehouse personnel, and ensures safety and efficiency of inventory flow.

A typical day includes staffing, training, coordinating schedules, monitoring performance, maintaining the fleet, and communicating with customers and our Sales Team. Hours are 8 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday, with occasional variation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices.
• 3-5 years field experience or equivalent training.
• Interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work under deadlines.
• Computer/technical skills as required for the job.

Responsibilities

• Maintain staffing levels; assist in interviewing and hiring.
• Train, motivate, monitor, and evaluate warehouse staff.
• Guide staff through reviews with coaching and discipline as needed.
• Coordinate staffing and weekend on-call coverage as needed.
• Schedule department meetings and communicate with customers and Sales Team.
• Oversee vehicle fleet safety, maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Monitor inventory control, cycle counts, stockouts, and errors.
• Ensure safe material movement from receiving to storage.
• Maintain proper storage to conserve space and safety.
• Assist in achieving department efficiency and performance goals.
