Dakota Supply Group in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse and delivery operations. This salaried, exempt role requires leading warehouse personnel, optimizing staffing, and ensuring safe, efficient processes from receiving to shipping.

The position supports ESOP ownership, teamwork, and growth opportunities while typical hours run 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday with adjustments as needed for business needs.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent, with related coursework or on-the-job experience.
• 3–5 years of warehouse operations experience or equivalent training.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work under pressure and deadlines.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Aufgaben

• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and assist in hiring.
• Train, motivate, monitor, and evaluate Warehouse Associates.
• Plan staffing, scheduling, and weekend on-call coverage as needed.
• Schedule and lead regular department meetings and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Manage delivery schedules and coordinate with customers, drivers, and sales team.
• Oversee vehicle fleet safety, cleanliness, and maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and report accidents/incidents.
• Monitor inventory control, cycle counts, stock outs, and shipping/receiving errors.
• Ensure efficient movement of materials from receiving to warehouse and proper inventory rotation.
