Job summary

Shaka Wear in Houston, TX is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to direct daily operations at our distribution center, ensuring accurate inventory, timely order fulfillment, and a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will lead a cross-functional team, implement process improvements, manage staffing and training, and collaborate with procurement, customer service, and transportation partners to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of warehouse supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Office.
• Strong leadership, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate day-to-day distribution center operations.
• Supervise and develop warehouse staff including leads, forklift operators, pickers, packers, and shippers.
• Plan workloads to meet shipping deadlines and service expectations.
• Monitor receiving, storage, inventory control, and outbound shipping activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, workflow efficiency, and cost control.
• Track KPIs related to productivity, order accuracy, and inventory management.
• Collaborate with customer service, sales, purchasing, and transportation teams.
