Job summary

Ascendo Resources seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee 24/7 operations, including receiving, inventory, shipping, and transportation. You will lead supervisors, leads, clerks, dispatchers, and drivers, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, FIFO rotation, and timely replenishment.

You will drive KPI improvements, maintain safety and quality standards (SQF, HACCP), coach staff, coordinate logistics with Production, and sustain on-floor leadership with a heavy evening/night/weekend

Qualifications

• Experience managing 24/7 warehouse operations.
• Ability to lead supervisors, clerks, dispatchers and drivers.
• Strong focus on inventory control, FIFO rotation and replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, inventory control, and shipping processes.
• Coordinate product loading, deliveries, and driver schedules.
• Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and coach warehouse staff for performance.
• Ensure on-time availability of materials and finished products.
• Lead on-floor operations with evening/night/weekend presence.

Job description

Manage all warehouse, receiving, inventory, shipping, dispatch, and transportation operations for a 24/7 operation.

Lead and oversee supervisors, leads, clerks, dispatcher, and 2–3 transport drivers.

Ensure accurate and timely receiving, storage, inventory control, FIFO rotation, and material replenishment.

Coordinate product shipping, truck loading, customer deliveries, driver schedules, and daily route coverage.

Maintain compliance with SQF, HACCP, food safety, workplace safety, and company standards.

Monitor and improve warehouse KPIs, operational metrics, productivity, costs, and inventory accuracy.

Develop, coach, train, and hold warehouse personnel accountable for performance, conduct, and continuous improvement.

Maintain warehouse organization, housekeeping, equipment/fleet service coordination, and efficient operating procedures.

Partner with Production and other departments to ensure materials and finished products are available and shipped on schedule.

Provide strong on-floor leadership, including approximately 50 hours per week, with regular evening/night and weekend presence.
