Job summary

Schylling Inc. in Lakewood, WA, seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager for the 3rd Shift (Sun–Thu, 10:00 pm–6:30 am) to lead a dynamic warehouse team and drive safe, efficient operations.

You will ensure OSHA compliance, monitor KPIs, manage the site budget, and collaborate with vendors while coaching staff for leadership growth. Prior experience with WMS/ERP and inventory planning is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years as Warehouse/Distribution Center leader in retail distribution or e-commerce with progressive advancement in a warehouse/ distribution center environment.
• Ability to understand the financial management of the warehouse, including budget preparation and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated understanding of distribution, transportation, and inventory management principles with a strong customer focus.
• Experience with remote headquarters and coordinating with functional resources.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall safety and welfare of the DC facility and staff by addressing physical safety issues and creating a culture of safety.
• Ensures operation compliance with OSHA regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Develop metrics, monitor KPIs, and implement systems to track real-time operational performance.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and training to warehouse staff at all levels to foster growth and leadership development.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock to fulfill orders.
• Manage and build relationships with internal/external stakeholders and vendors to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide equipment, tools, and training to staff to ensure safe, secure, and efficient operations.

Schylling's warehouse operations are in Lakewood, WA, and we are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager, 3rd Shift to lead our 3rd shift team. Third shift runs Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall safety and welfare of the DC facility and staff by addressing both physical safety issues and creating a culture of safety.
• Ensures that the operation complies with all OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Must have the ability to develop metrics, monitor KPIs and put in place systems and processes to track real time operational performance.
• Provide leadership, coaching and training to warehouse associates at all levels placing an emphasis on culture, talent evaluation and leadership development.
• Monitors inventory levels to ensure sufficient levels to fulfill all orders.
• Responsible for managing and building continuous improvement relationships with internal/external stakeholders and vendors.
• Provides the necessary equipment, tools, and training to staff to ensure safe, secure, and efficient operations.
• Creates and provides a leadership style that ensures a positive, efficient, and safe work environment.
• Manages the site level budget, ensuring financial metrics are achieved.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 5-10 years as Warehouse/Distribution Center leader in retail distribution or e-commerce with progressive advancement in a warehouse/ distribution center environment.
• Ability to understand the financial management of the warehouse, including budget preparation and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated understanding of distribution, transportation, and inventory management principles and practices with a strong customer focus.
• Knowledge and understanding of supply chain systems (i.e., WMS, Inventory Planning, ERP, etc.)
• Experience working with remote headquarters and functional resources, ability to build effective relationships, solve problems, and get things done.
• Ability to work the third shift Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000. Offered base compensation within this range will be determined based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, geographic location and other factors relevant to the scope and responsibilities of this role.
