Job summary

Schylling is seeking a Janitorial Associate at our warehouse in Lakewood, WA. You will perform routine cleaning, sanitize restrooms, and assist with general warehouse duties to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. High school diploma or GED preferred; overtime eligibility is available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of work experience in a related field.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards.
• Must be able to report to work as assigned (eligible for overtime).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policy.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• General cleaning within the warehouse – sweeping, dusting and dumping garbage.
• Painting walls and touch up within the building.
• Stocking of general supplies within the building.
• Has the ability to help with other warehouse functions such as: VAS, unloading containers and picking/shipping orders.
• Must be able to work in high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the assigned area.
• And any other duties needed to help fulfill our mission.
• Keep safety a priority.

The base hourly rate for this position is $19.00 to $21.00. Offered base compensation within this range will be determined based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, geographic location and other factors relevant to the scope and responsibilities of this role.
