Company Description

The Tile Shop is NOW HIRING a FULL TIME and IN-STORE Warehouse Manager.

The In-Store Warehouse Manager is responsible for:

• Helping oversee the warehouse at the store itself.
• Preparing packing and shipping documents.
• Picking and staging outbound shipments.
• Ensuring inbound & outbound shipments are accurate & damage-free.
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

They must also have the ability to manually move and lift 50 to 100 lb. boxes of tile regularly and work nights and weekends within a team rotation.

Job Description

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to assemble customer orders and prepare for shipment.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Complete inventory paperwork, including shipping confirmations, receiving confirmations, purchase orders, and UPS documentation.
• Maintain accurate store inventory at all times.
• Label all orders and back stock clearly.
• Participate in cycle counting programs.
• Load and unload customer vehicles, ensuring proper paperwork is completed and signed.
• Process incoming freight trucks promptly.
• Use equipment such as forklifts safely to move inventory.
• Inspect and maintain equipment in good working order.
• Record received and distributed product quantities.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Enter records into the computer system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write in English
• Strong work ethic
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it
• Excellent organizational skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Ability to manually lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs
