Duties and Responsibilities

1. Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse facility.
2. Generate work assignments, manage schedules, set priorities, assign daily tasks, and review employee performance.
3. Coordinate activities of warehouse staff involved in receiving, cataloging, tagging, maintaining, storing, packing, and shipping inventory.
4. Assign resources, determine objectives and procedures, and monitor results to ensure inventory accuracy.
5. Ensure materials are received, stored, shipped, and reported per established procedures, government guidelines, and contract requirements.
6. Manage procedures and controls for hazardous material shipments.
7. Educate employees on safety procedures and guidelines to maintain an accident-free workplace. Participate in meetings and task forces to improve quality, communicate issues, and stay updated on policies and developments.
8. Assist in managing daily activities and prioritizing tasks.
9. Use a computer to access email, calendars, and office software.
10. Comply with all applicable standards and guidelines.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Certifications, Qualifications, and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software.
• Four or more years of responsible experience in logistics/warehouse environment; recent experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in English communication skills.
• Experience with government property management is desirable.
• Hazardous materials certification is preferred.
• Participation in training programs, including HIPAA, required.
• Current CPR certification required.

Other Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• Current Passport.
• Proficiency in English communication.
