Position Overview

We are hiring a Branch Operations Manager for our Daytona Beach branch. You will assist the Branch Manager with daily operations, overseeing activities and staff in the warehouse and administration to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Support the Warehouse Manager to ensure high performance of operations
• Lead and coordinate warehouse activities and staff
• Manage warehouse operations, keeping the Branch Manager informed to focus on broader business aspects
• Review bills of lading and sales orders for planning
• Ensure compliance with procedures for shipments, handling non-conforming materials, and inventory management
• Coordinate activities to meet customer quality and delivery expectations

Quality and Safety

• Maintain quality and safety procedures as per the Quality System
• Ensure equipment safety, perform routine maintenance, and keep records
• Participate in internal audits and quality reviews
• Contribute to the Branch Safety Committee

Administration

• Maintain knowledge of billing, receiving, and accounts payable processes
• Control costs by minimizing waste and purchasing strategically
• Hold regular meetings to review metrics and safety
• Review training records and coordinate staff training
• Assist with employee reviews

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse supervisory experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years in a production warehouse environment
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and measure performance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to lift 55-100 pounds safely
• Forklift/pallet jack experience or certification
