The Blue Collar Recruiter of Philadelphia is seeking a Warehouse Manager / Stockroom Foreman in New York. The role oversees daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and material distribution to support field technicians. Strong organization, safety focus, and hands-on leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in warehouse management or stockroom supervision.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, boiler services, or industrial operations is a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification required; Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and stockroom operations and ensure parts are organized and available.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages.
• Receive, inspect, label, and store materials and equipment.
• Prepare materials for field service technicians and jobs.
• Maintain and inspect tools/equipment for safety and readiness.
• Coordinate delivery/pickup to/from customer sites and job locations.
• Keep records: inventory, packing slips, work orders, and docs.
• Assist with purchasing and vendor coordination.
• Maintain clean, safe, compliant storage areas and enforce policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and stockroom operations, ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are organized and readily available.
• Manage inventory levels, track stock, and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages and service delays.
• Receive, inspect, label, organize, and store incoming materials, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare and issue materials and equipment for field service technicians and scheduled jobs.
• Maintain, inspect, and track company tools and equipment to ensure they are safe, functional, and ready for use.
• Coordinate the delivery and pickup of materials, tools, and equipment to and from customer locations and job sites.
• Perform local deliveries throughout the New York metropolitan area as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, packing slips, work orders, and related documentation.
• Assist with purchasing, vendor coordination, and material procurement.
• Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.
• Enforce warehouse safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse management, stockroom supervision, inventory control, or materials management.
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, boiler services, mechanical contracting, construction, or industrial service operations is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management, material handling, warehouse organization, and equipment tracking.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, packing slips, and inventory documentation.
• Experience operating trucks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials and equipment as required.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Forklift Operator Certification required.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
